Katie Hurd, LGSW, MSW
Katie is a psychotherapist and licensed graduate social worker. She completed her Master of Social Work degree, with a concentration in clinical social work, at The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.
Katie has experience providing individual therapy as well as working with families to address challenges surrounding emotional regulation, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relational issues. Katie most often utilizes modalities including Child Centered Play Therapy (CCPT) as well as other attachment-based and relational therapies.
Katie is committed to continuing education and professional development and is currently working towards a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Virginia.
