Jamie has over 15 years experience as a school social worker and school counselor working in K-12 independent and special education settings in Virginia and Washington, DC. Her work in schools centered on supporting children, adolescents, and their families around anxiety, depression, learning challenges, stress management, transitions and relational issues that impact the family system. She joins Weaver and Associates as a resident psychotherapist working towards licensure in Virginia. A lifelong learner, Jamie received a Masters of Arts in Mindfulness Studies from Lesley University in 2022.

Jamie is specifically trained in Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), a parent-based treatment developed to address anxiety in children and her work centers on supporting and strengthening parents and families to navigate the challenges and joys of raising children.
