Tanya earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Michigan and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW in Virginia and In Maryland (LCSW-C). A self described “Army Brat” she grew up in a military family. She currently resides in Maryland with her family and works supporting families and students. She brings over 15 years of experience providing trauma-informed care across school systems, community agencies, and military settings. Tanya specializes in supporting children, adolescents, and families through counseling, psychoeducational groups, and parent coaching. She is passionate about equipping parents and educators with tools to strengthen resilience and promote emotional well-being.

Tanya enjoys working with children, adolescents, and parents. Her areas of interest include trauma, anxiety, neurodiversity, learning challenges, and family stress. She also specializes in supporting parents through coaching and evidence-based interventions that strengthen relationships and promote resilience.
