Does your child seem to resist the simplest requests? Do everyday tasks turn into battles, leaving you exhausted and wondering what you're doing wrong?
Many children experience Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA)—where ordinary requests trigger a fight-or-flight response. If your child shows extreme anxiety around expectations, seems capable one moment but overwhelmed the next, or makes conventional parenting advice feel useless, you've found your community. No diagnosis needed.
THIS GROUP OFFERS:
Validation from parents who understand
Practical tools that work for our unique kids
Judgment-free space to process difficult moments
Insights into challenging behaviors
Community with families on similar journeys
Facilitated by Parent Therapist Julianne Reilly, LCSW & Psychotherapist Amy Fourney, LPC
